Despite the existence of specific legislation and of a large number of administrative and civil entities, the historic substance of Arad is being continuously eroded. In many cases, a combination of the effects of several intervention types is visible, the positive results being shadowed by other categories of works carried out on the same building, having a larger negative outcome. We must also underline that strangely and inexplicably, initiating such actions often has no real justification, makes no sense, and has no specific purpose.
