This article deals with the importance of the restoration and functional reconversion of the Tailors’ Tower, a historic memento of the town of Cluj, highlighting the symbolic value of this listed historic building. The present procedure, presented as a counterpart of “similar” 20th century interventions, stresses the “engineering” aspect of the approach.
