Built in the 20th century (1934-1937), the Endless Column in Târgu Jiu is a monumental sculpture internationally recognized as a masterpiece of modern art created by Constantin Brâncusi. In the last decade of the 20th century, the sculpture has been the subject of many studies, investigations, reports, restoration proposals and debates at national and international level. The article presents the last intervention, implemented in 2000, based on the project of the Romania Union of plastic Artists.
