The international conference on “The Vernacular and the Multicultural Dialogue” was held in Transylvania between May 19-24, 2009. At the same time it was the 2009 annual meeting of the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Vernacular Architecture CIAV, which again in 1992 included the project, “The Saxon Heritage Documentation Program in Transylvania”, which was carried out by the Transylvanian Saxon Cultural Council and financed by the government.
