Rezumat:
The beauty of Sibiu’s old centre, redolent with age, relies in the adjacency of the Gothic, Renaissance and baroque architectural styles, and in the ensemble of developed fortresses, modernised defensive walls, sacral and civil constructions. In 2007 Sibiu, as European Capital of Culture, gained the opportunity to draw attention on all these beauties, thus it became possible to research the Haller House and to conserve its carved stone elements. The article presents this process, through which the restorer succeeded in nearing the former aspect of the Haller House.
